BANDLEADERS ACTION COMMITTEE INTL’ INC. Incorporated
May 1997 MISSION
STATEMENT
-
To
establish a unified body of concerned Band leaders, Mas-makers
and supporters to promote and protect the indigenous Art
form of Mas-making and the presentations thereof in a
professional and respected manner.

To
represent the interest of the above in all and every area of
endeavor, to ensure that the efforts of these hard working
individuals, are neither exploited nor degraded in any
manner or form.

To
explore all available resources in order to alleviate the
tremendous cost of productions through sponsorship by local
neighborhood business and corporate institutions.

To
pursue a strong working relationship with the West
Indian-American Carnival Day Association in seeking to
improve the general presentation of this major event, and to
ensure that our Association is consulted and appraised of
all matters concerned with its participation.
